enjoying having somewhere to eat outdoors at the new house!

where's Harry??

Pool day for the Kinders/Prep class

Goodbye Thistle Street Rental #2

We have been finding ssoooo many of these nasty scorpions at the new house, must be because its close to a bush reserve.

feeling a bit more settled in

not a bad view!

chuffed with his new shoes

I crocheted some new wash cloths

gulp. yep. We have guineapigs! Joshua named them Mr. Pepper Salt and Mr. Sandy Dollar. ooook then!

this lovely lady came to visit us! Her name is Rianne and she is touring around Australia on her own! She stayed in Tasmania for 3 months working on vineyards in the Tamar Valley. We really enjoyed her company, and she knows a mutual friend of mine, Lenie Roose and often babysits her kids. Small world, huh?

Harrys face when I say "Shall we pick up Joshua from school?"

breakfast in the sunshine

If you walk through the bush at the back of our house, you end up here! So nice to do family walks.

dork Josh.

Brendan Buist gave Joshua a fly fishing rod that his son wasn't using anymore. Oh boy..Joshua practiced casting in every spare minute he got. Thank fully Reinier has oodles of patience to fix all the "koekerasies"!

another hike from home to the Basin.

Cant beat a good dish of Bobotie!
Natuurlik met n bietjie Aunty Balls. :-)

Exploring the Penny Royal which has recently all been done up.

panning for gold

there are so many spots in Tassie where you can just pull off the road, walk through a paddock and try to catch some fish!

At 41deg South Salmon Farm.
(Unfortunately this place has been totally destroyed during the June floods)

At the museum

lunch on the tram

Joshua could have spent hours here, he's fascinated with dinosaurs! (which little boy isn't??)
