RT-far-T club. Theme: "Als in die Haak"

Our RT-far-T evening was a great success again, even though not all the ladies could make it! We all made something with 'hooks' or pegs to hang things.
Louise with a hanger she made for her little girls bedroom, really cute!
Bob with her DIY work! (Nice tummy Bob, she's 16 weeks!!)
Elsabè impressed us all! This is to hang above her daughter Anzelle's desk in her bedroom. It helps keep her pencils, paper and school reading books organised.
Adri made these to hang her boys artwork. She painted everything and glued it all together, nice!
Anneke Boerigter 'Modge Podged' some wood, painted some pegs, made the cute ribbons and glued it all together.
One I made
Bob's
Another one Anneke made. She's going to use it to hang all her scarves. Really original!
Another one I made
Another one of Bob's (The photo shrunk and cut of the nice lace on the edges, oops!)

Juniors things...

Damien brought over a parcel from Australia...I love parcels! Some Pumpkin Patch clothes & blanket for Junior! Aren't they cute?? I've proudly displayed them in the cradle. Thanks SO MUCH Linda! We really appreciate it!
Pa made this cradle many years ago, all five boys slept in it! It gets passed around the family, and now its my turn. I love it! It will be nice to use for the first few months, otherwise Junior will get lost in the cot! Cant wait to get some nice bedding (and decorate / paint the room).

Kampman Reunion - Monday 22nd March

We arrived home at lunch time, dropped of the camper and headed straight out to Abbie & Mandies for the "Kampman Reunion". Mandie is a FANTASTIC organiser and everyone had a great time! Its so nice that they've got all that room, the kids kept themselves busy the whole time. Farm life is the best life I reckon! Here's a photo of all the men at the braaiers.
Ferdinand and Reinier "tanning the wors"

Eleannè - 10 months old. I think she wins the "easiest baby" prize!
Mandies veggie patch! (jaaa...one day I'll plant mine...)
Damien and Boetie. Was really good catching up with them! Damien came as a big suprise!!
Volleyball

Omaramba

Monday was a public holiday, so we decided to go away for the weekend. We went camping with Willem & Bob and their kids at Omaramba. Its a really big camping resort, with 250 stands which were all full! There are also warm & cold swimming pools, a restaurant etc etc...We had a great weekend! Heres Willem in his 'kuier mode'!
Nerds!
Anina, such a sweetie! She's four (I think?)
Bob & Wildrik enjoying the warm swimming pool, Wildrik must have thought its the biggest bath ever! He is 1 1/2.
Cheese!! Anina was taking 'photos' of us with her head torch, now it was our turn to take a photo of them. :-)
heehee....lekker vleis...njum!
Reinier relaxing with a book
Our camp spot :-) When we got there, the spot they had given us was right next to the swimming pool, and there were no fences! Not good for a 1 1/2 year old! So we shifted to the only available spot. At least we weren't jammed between other campers.

RT-far-T ladies club

Marthie (or Bob as we all know her!) and I have started a craft evening called RT-far-T on the last Thursday of every month. So far there are about 15 ladies and our first evening was a great success! The theme was mosaic. Everyone enjoyed it! Marissa impressed us all with a big fish mosaic that she's going to hang in the kids bathroom. Bob (pictured far right) made paisley mosaic patterns up-side-down onto brown paper. She's going to transfer it to a concrete trough outside at their house, tricky!
