The house that Hans built

Hans de Wit has been very busy building his house on the 'farm'! Its got alot of character with crooked poles and things, but hey...its a house!! I really like it. Reinier and I stayed there last week Friday night. The house has no flooring in it yet, so we slept on the stoep in sleeping bags...with the dogs. At least the Ostrich "Gertjie" and the Wildebeeste kept their distance!

Hans was clever and slept here, at least the dogs didn't bother him!
Chris van de Wetering also has a house on the farm. They bought the property together.

Anmari turns 3!!

Anmari turned 3 on the 30th January 2010. Jessica organised a nice kiddies party on Friday 29th. And because I now work half day...I got to go! (I haven't been to many kiddies parties!!) Jessica made heaps of really cute party bags.

The little swimming pools were also a big hit! Daan & Jessica have such a nice big back-yard, the kids all had a ball!

Blow them out Anmari!! (It was really funny because Anmari was being a little grumpy quietly eating her smarties...then she said to Tannie Julia (Ouma) "I dont want all these people here!!") I think she still had a great time though!
