We had a really nice birthday party for Joshua yesterday, he got spoiled!

Happy Birthday Seuntjie!!

 Joshua is 1 YEAR OLD already! What a great year; we thank God for blessing our lives with this little man, he's just so much fun!

September odds & ends

 Joshua was sick with croup this week. It was quite a mission to steam him! Here he is watching teletubbies which kept him still...for a few minutes! He's still coughing, but doing much better now.

Elephants & being silly

 Last weekend we went to Zebula Golf Estate. There is a game farm nearby where you can ride elephants. We were driving past when we saw the rangers taking the elephants for a walk, we stopped and they let us touch & feed one, it was really cool!! This one likes it if you tickle his tongue, weird feeling! This elephant was not very big, but was 13 years old.

Joshua wasn't too fazed as though he'd seen elephants lots of times :-)

Feeding him some pellets. The hairs on his trunk are really prickly!

We went to Rietvlei Game Reserve to show Joshua some animals. He loved driving on Pappa's lap!! He didn't really see the bokkies, but was really interested in the zebras! I think they are much easier to see!
