Launceston randoms & lego expo

On Saturday we headed off to the city. Launceston is about 20mins from home. I took along my camera and took some snapshots along the way for family wanting to see a little bit what it looks like. The photos aren't very good quality: 1. -I'm a rubbish photographer and 2. - they were all taken through the windscreen :-)

its all quite British looking really.

lots of cafès

veggie gardens in a courtyard

I love the country, but I'm just as happy walking around the city, especially stopping at a nice coffee shop. Perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday morning!

tai-chi anyone?
(Toe ons dit sien, Reinier se "neem n foto vir Ard Joey!!")
I had to stop Reinier from joining in. hahaaa

after lunch we took a nice walk through City Park

We finished off the day at the Kings Meadows High School Lego Exhibition.

Joshua kept rubbing his hands on his pants, it was funny to watch. His hands must have been  ITCHING to touch all the Lego! Poor kid!

I love this view coming home. At the bottom on the right is the turnoff to Rosevears Drive.
