We held Joshua's 3rd birthday party yesterday!
His birthday is on Monday, but it falls on an extra-long weekend when everyone is away.
It was really fun this year, because he picked out what birthday cake he wanted and understood what was going on. He was super duper excited! He kept on saying "jahooe, ek verjaar!".
We gave him a small present yesterday (a water gun - but he thought it was the best thing ever), and then we'll give him his presents on Monday.
We had the party at the park, there was a total of 30 kidlets, loads of fun! They all love Joshua which is really cute.

He chose this train cake! (credit to Reinier for the decorating, he did most of it!)
He got so spoiled, lots of Afrikaans books (yay!!) a slippery slide, a ball, matchbox car, t-shirts, Duplo, and his favourite - a radio-controlled car from Tannie Marissa! He's been crashing the car all around the house since he woke up!
