Friday was a public holiday here, so we decided to go camping for 2 nights. Thaba Monate is a campsite only 1 1/2 hours away from home. We camped really basic, and just took the roof top tent, fun!
It was really really windy, and we even got some rain (very weird this time of year!) It was fun camping simple!
Joshua found a little friend 'next door' and they played for hours with cars in the sand. (You would have loved all the sound effects Dad!)
feeding a tame Nyala in the camp. It nibbled Joshua's finger, he was telling everyone... (when other kids came to feed him he would run up to them and say "passop julle, hy het regtig my vinger gebyt, dit was BAIE seer") He's quite shy. Like his Pappa. ;-)
