Caprivi / Okovango. Tiger Fishing.

My very spoilt husband got to go tiger fishing in the caprivi again this year. I was quite jealous! He didn't take many photos, this is all I could salvage off his camera :-). If you want more information, just google 'tiger fishing, okovango'.
(photo from google - huge teeth!)

crammed into their chartered aeroplane

the house boat, half the guys slept here, and the other half slept in safari tents on the banks of the river. It is such a beautiful region, I can just imagine how nice it must be at dusk, fishing off a boat in the river, and watching elephants on the river bank. aahhhh...

  3. Jo-Ellen,
How is it that your blog makes me homesick... for Africa??!! :)
You're photos always bring back so many great memories, I just love-love-love your updates!!!
That's awesome about the private flat you'se are building, what a GREAT idea!!! Hopefully one day we'll get to see it xx And Reinier's fishing trip? Lets just say I turned green at the gills - there really is nothing quite like Africa is there. I'm happy I get to "share" it's beauty through your pictures at least (and Mandie's) *smiles*
Josh looks like a load of fun, I can't believe he's so big already - and he's getting tall!!! And you're baking and crafting talents are inspiring young lady, you're a gem.
Love and miss you three xxxx
