Our craft evening was a big succses again this month! I have no idea what you call the type of craft what we did, but it was really fun. First, you paint a canvas in any colour of your choice with Acrylic paint. This will be the background colour. This is Inneke's, it looked to good to cover up!

I painted my background black. (Dont laugh at my attempt at drawing an apple here Alison!)

Then you cover the entire canvas with a mixture of Pollyfilla, water and acrylic paint also in your choice of colour. Most of us used white. If you dont add white paint, the Pollyfilla looks a bit too grey.

If you want to try this at home, make sure you buy the interior Pollyfilla. The exterior one comes out too lumpy.

Lastly, you just scratch out a picture or whatever you want, and leave to dry...and...ta da..! Tineke made a nice one with a bible verse. Again, everyone came up with something completely different!

Louise made a series of these

Made by Elsabè
Made by Linette

Cora made a set of shells, the others were made by Inneke

Marissa made a Boabab tree.

Cute! Bob made this for her baby room.

...and this one

And lastly, Made by Jo-Ellen - for...the baby room of course!! (See Alison, I CAN draw...) doesn't my cat look friendly?
