It doesn't look like much, but Fanie our garden boy has done ALOT of work tidying up the gardens since the beginning of the year. We haven't really started buying plants yet, just pruning etc. The building you see at the far end is our 'outside unit' and the workshop / shed. We plan to do-up the unit and rent it out one day. Wilna has already booked it :-)
In the far left hand corner we plan to build a nice braai area with a fire pit. Its going to look fantastic, but you'll have to wait a little while! This is looking on to our front stoep where we usually kuier.
This is the front garden, where the small gate or 'main entrance' is. Notice the dam is gone! It was just mosquito's and frogs in the summer, and winston loved to go wading through the muddy water! We are going to put 500 x 500 white paving blocks from the gate to the front door, and then plant grass where the rest of the sand is.
