DECEMBER HOLIDAYS!!
After our wedding & honeymoon, the holiday continued...
Afrit closes down for 4 weeks over the Christmas season, so we decided to go to the Capetown area with Leon & Lallie. It was a fantastic holiday! On the way down we stopped over at the Karoo National Park for a few nights, totally different landscape to the Kruger Park! Well if you're wondering why there aren't many photos...or honeymoon photos...thats because Reiniers laptop AND my nice big camera got STOLEN while we were camping at Kommetjie near Capetown. We were quite mad to put it mildly! I was looking forward to making a nice honeymoon album...but hey...we'll just have to go again!
Here are a few photos that I had on our small camera!
Lallie loves doing Mosaics, and we saw this really cool mirror.
Just had to take a pic!
We did lots of this...*hic* *hic*

and some more...
(thats Robbert on the left, he joined us from Holland for a few days)
The Ernie Els vineyard was the best by far!!

Very fancy and tastefully designed inside
This is just before I spilled a VERY expensive glass of wine on Reiniers shorts!
stunning surroundings...

This is a little beachside resteraunt in Kleinmond.
Robbert took us all out to dinner here, thanks Robbie!
The 'main street' in Kleinmond
While we were camping in Kleinmond, there was HUGE storm and our
tent got ripped to bits! We ended up sleeping in the back of Leons Pajero,
we didn't get much sleep that night! The next night we stayed in a bed & breakfast,
WONDERFUL!
This was right near the B & B so we went for a morning walk.
On our way back to Kommetjie, the most amazing scenery!
We met up with Gerben & Anneke and Pa & Christelle in Kommetjie for New Years & Christmas.
Lallie got the nice job of chopping onions for our Potjiekos
Gee my 'n bietjie skaap Oom Leon!
YUM...we made a really yummy lamb potjie.
(Lamb, red wine, garlic, balsamic vinegar...can you smell it?)
Leon & Bernard
On our way back to Pretoria we stayed in a really nice B & B in Montagu.
Its in the Karoo region.

This hotel has a really nice resteraunt
OK OK...the food is almost here!
A little antique shop we stopped to look at
